Ateliers Architecture, Luc Roy, architects

In 1993, after the completion of a first project, Luc Roy decided to establish an architectural office in the Sherbrooke area, in the Eastern Townships, east of Montréal and north of Vermont and New Hampshire. It is in Waterville, between Sherbrooke and the United States border, that they installed the new practice.

Luc Roy work on many different project types and sizes throughout Eastern Townships. In 1996, he decided to specialize his practice in historical preservation and restoration and have since completed many projects in the region, as well as in Gaspésie. ateliers architecture is now established as references in historical restoration, in technical, architectural and historical fields.

The projects are not limited to historical preservation. The team is also working in hospitals, schools, institutions and industries. Their capacity of listening, of synthesis and their creativity in solution propositions to clients are more and more recognized by different clients.

In residential architecture, ateliers architecture choose their clients and projects very carefully from the interest they have in the challenge being offered to them.

The essential value on which the firm and Luc Roy architect is built is the quality of detail in every aspect of the work: from the simple preparatory document to the very complete historical presentation; from technical details to budgets and estimates; from specifications to final drawings, from on-site surveillance to the completion of a building. The quality put in a small task should be the same quality put in great works, for the complete satisfaction of every client.
